Hilary has also developed impact assessment tools, frameworks for policy analysis and other intellectual property over her career. Many of these tools/frameworks are still in use today, such as the Market Appeal/Robusticity Assessment Matrix for cultural tourism.

Always interested in upskilling and keeping current, she recently completed a tourism/community stakeholders co-design workshop with Tourism CoLab, digital content editing and inclusive writing online courses with Writing NSW to upgrade her skills in those areas.

From coordinating research projects to producing publications for a variety of audiences, Hilary has developed extensive first-hand experience of accommodating cultural diversity. This experience was gained from leading or coordinating 12 academic research projects, 16 government research projects and 263 consulting projects (including 13 international projects.
